CleoCleo, a female African Grey Congo, was surrendered to us in 2002 due to economic hardship.

Cleo had severe anxiety problems prior to the Joshua Rescue Foundation. She would throw herself on the ground screaming and trashing at the slightest provocation.

Since her arrival and introduction to the open air flights and to Joshua, she is a different girl. She is still fearful of "new" humans, but has a calmness to her soul. Parrots often breed for life. Although they do not mate, they are a bonded couple and love deeply. She is said to be a wild caught. Very shy of new humans, but is very talkative and comes up with crazy sayings from her past!
